Día De Los Muertos

“Day of the Dead,” one of the most culturally significant holidays in Mexico, is an emotional celebration in which the living honor the memory of those who have came before them. The ritual sharing of Mezcal plays a key role in this commemoration, always a little poured on the ground to honor the Ancestors and Mother Earth who gave us the agave.

Vida de Muertos

Inspired by the annual batches of Mezcal distilled in the village of San Luis del Rio for their celebration of Day of the Dead, Del Maguey presents Vida de Muertos, a special 45 ABV edition of Vida Clásico. Ripe maguey (agave) Espadín is traditionally roasted underground, naturally fermented and twice distilled in small wood-fired copper stills. This special mezcal presents a nose of tropical fruit and warm spice, a creamy palate with floral notes, green herbs and poblano peppers, and a long complex finish.

Del Maguey Marigolds

Marigolds are symbolic of community gathering and play a meaningful role in traditional celebrations of Día de los Muertos.

Each bottle of Del Maguey Vida de Muertos that carries our special Marigold flower represents a donation we’ve made to our community initiatives in Mexico.
