Carlos Andrés Ramírez is an accomplished mixologist and spirits expert with a career dedicated to elevating agave culture around the world. With deep roots in hospitality and years spent teaching, mentoring, and leading advocacy programs, he brings a rare blend of technical mastery and storytelling to every piece he writes.

Today, he oversees global advocacy for renowned tequila and mezcal brands, including Del Maguey, shaping industry education, sustainable competition models, and meaningful connections across the bartender community.

His insights have been featured in international publications covering whisky, tequila, cocktail innovation, and the evolving world of premium agave spirits. At Del Maguey, Carlos shares his passion for tradition, terroir, and craft, helping readers discover the richness behind every bottle and every village.
